**Job Title**: Sous Chef

**Salary**: QAR 5,000 with FREE shared accommodation and transportation (OR QAR 6,800 Full package / All in)

We are seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, supervising the kitchen staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. Your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our establishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menus that showcase creativity, quality, and consistency.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow, timely production, and adherence to food quality and safety standards.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to the kitchen team, ensuring efficient coordination and proper execution of recipes.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards and meet customer expectations.
- Assist in developing and implementing standardized recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to manage inventory levels, control costs, and ensure the availability of necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients, incorporating them into menu planning and kitchen operations.
- Support the Head Chef in administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and menu costing.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, demonstrating culinary expertise and leadership abilities.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
