We are seeking a diligent and experienced Cost Controller to join our team in the Food & Beverage (F&B) division of our esteemed hotel. The Cost Controller will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all financial aspects of the F&B operations to ensure profitability and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and analyze F&B costs, including food, beverage, and operating expenses.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality and service standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of stock levels and usage.
- Collaborate with F&B managers and chefs to establish portion control standards and recipe costing.
- Evaluate supplier contracts and negotiate favorable terms to maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, variances, and trends for management review.
- Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction through data analysis and market research.
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to F&B staff on cost awareness and control measures.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role in the F&B industry, preferably within a hotel setting.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in Hospitality Management or Cost Control (optional but preferred).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
