**About the role**

The Crewing Support Officer is the front office contact of the Crew Control Department. They provide on-site face-to-face communication and support for flight crew and cabin crew in relation to their roster, duty sign in/out and crew documentation in order to ensure a flawless flow for departure and arrival duties of crew. They provide high-level 24/7 customer service to the crew to ensure that crew can perform their pre-flight and post flight duties efficiently. They are also responsible for the management of crew logistics, ensuring all hotel, flights and ground transport are in place as per the requirements. The role includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Ensure that Flight Crew and Cabin Crew report for flying duties on time by monitoring the crew sign-in system, following up in case of crew No-Show, Offload, Grooming, lost document etc. and informing the Crew Control team about any discrepancy to achieve on time performance and the required crew complement.
- Communicate Roster changes after reporting time for Crew members on Airport standbys or crew members with changed flights by physically calling them out from the airport standby crew lounge and/or briefing rooms, fast-track their boarding process by providing the required legal documents and guiding them throughout the crew flow process to avoid any potential delays.
- Support the allocation of cabin crew briefing rooms manually whenever is required to ensue flawless pre-flight preparation for cabin crew.
- Generate, print and officially stamp ICAO standard General Declaration form, Chinese Immigration form and other documents for Flight Crew and Cabin Crew using Crew Tracking system to provide crew the required legal documentation to avoid any potential fines due to missing documents.
- Monitor operational status like aircraft readiness, aircraft parking bay, aircraft tails changes etc. using information from Crew Control and Crew Tracking System to provide updates to crew accordingly.

Qualifications

**About You**
- Without a Degree: High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- With a Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Work experience in a customer service type role i.e. Ticketing, Travel Agency, Airport Services or similar

**Preferred**:

- Proven ability to deal with customers in difficult situations
- Proven ability to work constructively in a small team
- Previous experience as an airline crew member

**Job Specific Skills**:
**Essential**
- Excellent Command of English language (written and spoken)
- Pro-active problem solving skills
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Preferred
- Knowledge of crew resources processes and practices
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements especially FTL schemes
- Knowledge of crew tracking systems
- Other languages may be advantageous
