**About the role**

The Arts Department, consists of Art, Music, and Performing Arts. We are looking to appoint an Art Teacher to join our amazing team who:

- is an outstanding and passionate practitioner
- has experience of teaching Art from Grades 6 to 12 (Years 7 - 13)
- has experience of teaching Art at High School Diploma, IB Diploma Level or GCSE/A’Level
- is passionate about teaching and learning with a commitment to continuous improvement
- will be committed to the vision of igniting passion, purpose and potential in our students
- can contribute to the development of the The Arts Department, offering creative opportunities to enrich the learning experience of students at THIS
- can adapt the curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress
- assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement
- has excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, parents, and school leaders
- maintains high levels of behaviour among students, while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines
- is passionate about learning beyond the curriculum
