To support Serco’s continuous growth and delivery of world class services, we are currently bidding for a new project in Qatar and we are looking for a Student Affairs Administrator.

Key accountabilities
The Student Affairs office will act as the central hub for all administrative and logístical support to the courses to be delivered by Serco under the contract. The Student Affairs Administrator will support the provision of excellent service to the customer and students attending the courses delivered by Serco through the contract. The role holder will report directly to the Speaker Affairs Manager but will be tasked directly from time to time by the Contract Director, Director of Programmes and senior customer stakeholders. Provide high quality professional and flexible administrative support to the Speaker Affairs Manager, Course Directors/Directing Staff, senior Customer stakeholders and sub-contracted training and support service suppliers. Coordinate translation and interpretation requirements with Serco’s external sub-contractor to meet programme needs, while identifying efficiencies in timeliness, utilisation and costs. Develop and maintain a robust and confidential student records system that tracks student progression and achievements. Support the Director of Programmes, Course Directors/Directing Staff and Learning & Development Manager in managing, monitoring and reporting on the quality of the student experience.

We are looking for someone who has e xcellent organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to deal effectively with competing priorities. Has the a bility to work independently and also collaboratively to contribute to the development and achievement of team goals. Ability to work flexibly and deal with confidential information with discretion. Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, particularly related to data quality when working on repetitive tasks.

Specific requirements
Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in an educational institution. Excellent IT skills including in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint). E xperience of committee servicing, including the production of agenda and minutes/actions. Experience of creating and maintaining accurate paper and electronic record and administrative systems.
