Job Description: Pastry and Bakery SENIOR Chef de Partie

Starting salary: QAR 3,500++

**Overview**: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pastry Chef de Partie to join our prestigious pastry team. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the Head Pastry Chef to lead and execute the preparation and production of a diverse range of artisanal pastries and desserts. Your expertise, creativity, and mentorship will play a vital role in maintaining the bakery's reputation for excellence and elevating our pastry offerings to new heights.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the pastry team in the preparation, production, and plating of exquisite pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to junior pastry cooks and assistants, nurturing their talents and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to develop and refine pastry menus, introducing new and seasonal offerings that showcase creativity, innovation, and exceptional flavors.
- Oversee all aspects of pastry production to maintain consistent quality, conducting regular quality checks and ensuring that recipes and techniques are followed meticulously.
- Demonstrate expertise in advanced pastry techniques, including complex cake decorating, chocolate and sugar work, and the creation of artistic showpieces.
- Monitor ingredient inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and effectively managing stock levels to avoid shortages and wastage.
- Uphold strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards in the pastry kitchen, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations.
- Foster effective communication and cooperation with other kitchen departments and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.
- Assist in controlling food costs by minimizing waste and optimizing the use of ingredients without compromising on quality.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end culinary establishment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry and baking arts is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced pastry techniques, including cake decorating, chocolate work, sugar crafting, and showpiece creation.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of pastry professionals effectively.
- A passion for creativity, innovation, and excellence in pastry arts, constantly seeking opportunities to raise the bar.
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
