The **Transportation Management Liaison** is responsible for program-level Traffic Management (TMO) and Air Terminal Operations (ATOC) functional areas in coordination with the Operations Liaison Office. Plans, develops and implements procedures, provides technical guidance, interprets cargo policies and resolves transportation issues; and ensures compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all applicable Department of Defense (DOD), International and Federal transportation policies, laws, regulations and guidance. Manages Wood Packaging Material (WPM) program, 463L Equipment program (GART), Container Managment program and the company Transportation of Hazardous Materials Training program. Must be able to gain access to all required systems needed to perform the role in GPMS. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum Services ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Functions as the primary liaison for the transportation function between AMIC, USAFCENT, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and Global Prepositioned Material Services (GPMS) Program leadership on all transportation-related processes, procedures and initiatives.
- Provides In-transit visibility by tracking and tracing all GPMS equipment, vehicles and materials to USAFCENT and department heads utilizing various online reporting tools and reports.
- Assist the Operations Liaison Officer with managing 24/7 operations in support of all communications with the customer.
- Provides direction and recommends guidance on management and operations to Traffic Management and the Air Terminal Operations Center; communicates new directives and procedure changes and ensures compliance with DOD and USAF directives and regulations and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) contractual requirements.
- Plans, organizes, supervises and oversees the activities and employees of the Traffic Management department. Develops work standards, goals and objectives that integrate organization and traffic management objectives.
- Develops, maintains and analyzes achievable metrics for assigned requirements for constant process improvements.
- Participates and provides inputs for the semi-annual Program Management Review (PMR) briefings.
- Participates in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Standards.
- Manages all aspects of the Wood Packaging Materials (WPM), 463L Equipment (GART) and Container Management programs and requires access to the appropriate data systems.
- Validates sites input their monthly lumber usage and the use of pest-free stamps and ensure program auditors upload the yearly audit results into the Management Toolset system.
- Validates sites input their weekly inventories into the GART and JCM systems.
- Manages the company Transportation of Hazardous Materials Training program; maintains, designs, prepares and updates curriculum, educational aids and materials and training records. Conducts organization-wide training.
- Prepares and accomplishes shipping documents and completes customs clearances for delivery or receiving cargo by Line Haul Inter/Intra Theater between sites, seaports or airports and military installations.
- Manages the Traffic Management quality control and training programs to enhance contractual performance and compliance.
- Coordinates with Quality Assurance (QA) control inspectors in the identification and corrective actions of non-compliance performance.
- Performs Temporary Duty (TDY) within the USAFCENT AOR as required.
- Receives, assigns, coordinates and tracks incoming and outgoing correspondence and taskings on an automated data base.
- Ensures Operations Liaison Officer deliverables are posted in accordance with PWS.
- Participates in future operational/logistics planning activities with USAF counterparts as required.
- Initiate Situational Reports during Exercise deployments/redeployments for USAF Senior level management.
- Responsible for the Customer Satisfaction Survey program.
- Consolidates updated technical analysis and background for departmental inputs to ROM's or Proposals as required or directed by Operations Liaison Officer.
- Initiate organization's procedures for processing all Customers requested WRM tasking to ensure export vetting compliance is completed by the Security Manager prior to release to site.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining the archival storage records for WRM taskings in accordance with SOP's and WI's.
- In the absence of the Operations Liaison Officer, responsible for performance of all duties in the Customer Liaison Cell.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works in a normal office environment.
