About the role:
As Technical Architect - Physical Security Systems, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:
- Manage the entire Procurement & Tender process, Technical and Product Evaluation, Financial and Vendor Management for Physical Security System (PSS) division within Qatar Airways Group which include Video Surveillance System, ANPR Systems, Electronic Access Control Systems, Bio-metric Time and Attendance System. Parking Management System, Visitor Management System, Speed Gates etc.- Responsible for preparation of various RFQ/RFP/RFI/RFT in line with standard PSS project requirements and MOI SSD, Law 9 wherever applicable.- Aid and advice senior management during decision making for various technical and contractual clarification at various stages of tender and contract formalization.- Responsible for end to end Asset and Inventory Management of Physical Security Systems to ensure that installed systems are maintained and recorded in terms of audit and compliance perspective.- Responsible for Vendor Management including conduct of periodic review meetings to benchmark the operational support against contractual obligations and ensure severity levels are strictly adhered to.- Responsible for validation of all financial transactions including invoice review and approvals, purchase request, user managed procurement services in line with contract and payment terms.- Responsible for all end to end tasks involved in Contract formalization, Renewals and amendments.- Consistent engagement with Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the applicability of Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and DPA for the PSS Contracts.- Responsible for ensuring consolidation and validation of all projected Physical Security System projects and liaising with departmental Budget Holder for preparation and submittal of CAPEX/ OPEX.- Providing technical and contractual advisory for preparation and formalization of TETRA Radio Group Contract/amendment including liaising with various inter departments.- Responsible for conducting and managing Proof of Concept, Market Research and feasibility study on innovative technologies with cost reduction capabilities.- Ensures processes, system guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP) for physical security systems are documented, reviewed and updated on regular basis.- Responsible for the review and implementation of ISO 27001 standards in Physical Security Systems domain.- Responsible for liaising and managing both internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirement and prepare related Scope of Works and Specifications of Physical Security Systems- Responsible for technical and product evaluation including recommendations for various Physical Security System at QR Outstation offices.

Qualifications

About you:
- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level- Degree in Electronics/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent- Expert - minimum 10 years of job-relevant experience required- In depth knowledge about various Physical Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control. Time and Attendance, Biometric Solutions, RFID, ANPR technologies etc.)- Exposure to Video Management System, CCTV Cameras and Advanced Video Analytics System-
- Experience in contracts and procurement management including maintenance activities of Physical Security Systems- Experience in a customer facing role involving direct communication with users
