INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible for the overall planning and execution of the ICT department's cloud adoption and strategic cloud roadmap.

Facilitate the communities of practice throughout QatarEnergy and foster a culture of continuous cloud improvement,

modernization, innovation, and digitalization.

**Experience & Skills**:

- A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT environment, with least 5 years of demonstrated cloud

technology management and adoption specifically in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and/or Data Center as a Service

(DCaaS) and/or SAP HANA migration and transformation with Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset.
- In depth knowledge and extensive experience of cloud management, planning and execution.
- Good to have the cloud related professional certifications i.e., Microsoft Azure, Google, AWS & Cloud Security etc.
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Operates independently using mature judgment in planning and performing assignments and achieving defined

objectives.
- Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and communicate with a multi-cultural and multi-national workforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers,

contractors, and staff.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree (required) and Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an

appropriate Engineering/Business field.
