Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is now seeking a Cluster Training Manager to join our team at Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach in Doha, Qatar.

**Job Summary**:
The Cluster Training Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Learning and Development function at their property. They will conduct training needs analysis and implement action plans to address training needs; coordinate department trainers to deliver Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG) training; oversee and support skills and standards training; conduct Management Development Modules.

On property the cluster training manager will report to the HR Manager/Director. The key stakeholders will be General Manager, Execom/Director of Operation, HOD’s and EMEA L&D Manager.

**General Requirements**:

- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
- Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

**Fundamental Requirements**:

- Conduct prescreening interviews.
- Arrange pre-employment testing as applicable (background screening, drug testing, social security checks).
- Implement and evaluate the hotel’s compliance with recruiting policies and procedures, testing selection and job placement.
- Ensure that managers and supervisors are training in _Interviewing Skills _Management Development Workshop, and follow up to ensure use of the Interviewing Manual and other standard forms and procedures.
- Keep records and prepare statistical reports concerning recruitment, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.
- Assist in compiling wage surveys.
- Prepare and place recruitment advertising.
- Maintain advertising logbook.
- Participate in Wyndham Enrichment Committee.
- Write articles and take pictures for property newsletter.
- Assist with special projects such as planning employee events (meetings, picnics, parties).

**Physical Requirements**:

- Long hours sometimes required.
- Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
