Document Controller Accountant

**Objectives**:

- To ensure that set accounting processes, policies, systems and programs across business unit are followed. To provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information. To maintain, organize & complete source document files, ensuring compliance with policies & procedures.

**General responsibilites**
- To ensure that the GL is up to date and reconciled.
- To process all documents and maintain supporting records under his purview accurately and timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor in order to ensure that flow of work is continuous and adequate relief is provided.
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar''s financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Principles, Policies and Internal processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is typically required, and knowledge of Arabic may be beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Managing the company's financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts and other financial transactions.
- Collaborating with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Reconciliation of bank statement, making supplier payments.
- Maintain good business relationships with the counterparts in the vendors companies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure.
- Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain the files and control logs for all payments made as required by the project.
- Must have strong clerical and excel skill.
