As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Doha-based Qatar Airways Cargo Customer Experience team as a Digital Connectivity Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for strategic management of integrations with various external stakeholders involved in the electronic exchange of shipment data, such as Cargo Community Systems (CCS), marketplace partners and Customer Transport Management Systems using new-fangled connectivity methods such as MQ, SFTP, Web Service, API, keeping improvement of data exchange quality (message improvement) in mind.

With shifting market and industry requirements, the role would also encompass the tactical implementation of industry data exchange development i.e., One Record within QR Cargo, by participating in integration pilots, solution design and development, data standard development, CROAMIS implementation, testing, and compliance to standards

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:

- Drive tactical implementation of industry data exchange development aligned with corporate digital strategy i.e. One Record standard implementation within QR Cargo
- Plan and organize integration pilots, propose solution design and initiate API developments to introduce efficiencies and novel standards of message exchange within QR Cargo
- Define operational and technical requirements and processes of projects with stakeholders and ensure such requirements are drawn, reviewed and submitted to appropriate internal teams (Online Distribution Portals, Customer Digital Initiatives, Network — PLACI, IATA industry initiatives, Business Intelligence reports, etc.) to achieve QR Cargo digitalisation objectives
- Develop cost reduction mechanisms associated with data exchanges e.g., CCS diversification, direct connections with customer Transport Management System to generate savings for the business

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
- Experience in Sales and Business Development preferably in the Air Freight / Cargo / Logistics industry
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Project Management in the business context (digital, technology consulting, systems integration, etc.)
- Passion for digital transformation and a knack for e-lnitiatives and project management tools and platforms
- Experience in Online Product Distribution, MIS, e-Commerce or related fields would be an advantage
- Experience handling IATA Industry initiatives, Cargo Business System, Change Management, Continuous Business Improvement, Strategic Project/Program Management is preferred
- Good understanding of air cargo operational processes and business systems
