Position Overview:
A Contracts Engineer/Document Controller plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining contractual documentation for a company. This position involves ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of all contracts and related documents. The Contracts Engineer/Document Controller coordinates with various internal departments, external stakeholders, and legal teams to facilitate effective contract management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:

- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with legal teams to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and customer agreements.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking contracts, including contract status, key dates, and obligations.
- Monitor contract performance and facilitate contract amendments or terminations as necessary.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on contract-related matters and act as a point of contact for contract-related queries.

Document Control:

- Develop and implement document control processes and procedures to ensure efficient management and retrieval of documents.
- Establish and maintain a centralized document management system, including document numbering, version control, and access rights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related documents, such as drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
- Monitor document workflows and ensure documents are reviewed, approved, and distributed in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as project managers, engineers, and procurement, to gather and distribute relevant contract and document information.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal departments and external stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission and receipt of contractual documents.
- Provide training and support to employees on contract management processes, document control systems, and best practices.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Monitor contract compliance and identify any potential risks or deviations from contractual obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts and document management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance contract management efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in contract management and/or document control, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law, contract drafting, and negotiation principles.
- Familiarity with document management systems and software tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Salary**: From QAR3,000.00 per month
