Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager – Property to join our client's organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing management and supervision of the Facilities Management Service Providers, coordinating the facilities maintenance team to ensure objectives are met and SLA's/KPI's are adhered to.

This role requires a strong understanding of FM services and/or technical experience, along with proven success managing service levels, performance standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the Facilities Management Service Providers
  • Coordinate the facilities maintenance team
  • Ensure objectives are met and SLA's/KPI's are adhered to
  • Project management, supervising and coordinating work of contractors
  • Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services
  • Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
  • Liaising with tenants of commercial properties
  • Directing and planning essential central services
  • Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements
  • Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings
  • Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily
  • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels
  • Plan, organize and control operation in a professional manner

Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree qualification in Construction, Engineering or comparable, with a minimum of 5 years' in-depth management experience in a similar facilities management role.

Strong working knowledge of FM services and/or technical experience, along with proven success managing service levels, performance standards and customer satisfaction, are also required.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

A strong understanding of QHSE requirements in a multi-service environment is also necessary.
