Shipment Planning and Execution

You will plan sell and buy shipments, validate requirements such as credit limits and document mismatches, and coordinate with the Land Transport team to consolidate fleet allocation. Your attention to detail will ensure that all shipments are executed efficiently and effectively.

Shipment Updates and Billing

You will update shipment information, including events, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), costs, payments, and documentation. Additionally, you will create, approve, and dispatch customer bills and supplier invoices, ensuring timely billing and payment to support optimal cash flow.

Payment and Document Release

You will advance payment collection from customers for all shipments, request payments, and manage cash flow. After service completion, you will close and release files, validating file administration and ensuring cost recovery and margin alignment.

Communication and Support

You will handle additional coordination and payment tasks, organize and follow up on fleet transportation, document release, and customer communications. You will also report issues to managers, coordinate with customs and transport departments, and liaise with shipping lines, port authorities, forwarders, and customers.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma in any discipline, preferably Business Administration, and 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding. You will also need advanced Microsoft Office skills, fluent English communication, and basic Arabic knowledge.
