Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Merchandiser to join our team at GitLab. As a Field Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing existing relationships with independent retailers, showrooms, and stockists, promoting high-spec finishing products that are typically seen in premium homes and sometimes in commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent levels of service and support.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote new innovative products to customers.
- Set up display stands, product placement, and point-of-sale (POS) materials to effectively showcase products.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in field sales or field merchandising, with experience working with retailers, merchants, stockists, or distribution channels.
- Polished and articulate communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
