We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracting Officer to join our team at People Dynamics. As a key member of our Contracts Section, you will be responsible for managing and executing front-to-end contracting and sourcing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Management: Develop, execute, and manage contracts and sourcing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Commercial Negotiations: Conduct commercial and contractual negotiations, including preparation of business cases and briefs for management.
- Contract Planning: Contribute to the development of the Contracts Plan for assigned spend areas and prepare timelines for the entire contracting process.
- Contract Administration: Administer the award of contracts and contract amendments, and as applicable, debrief unsuccessful tenderers.
- Contract Risk Management: Conduct contractual risks analysis and mitigate risks, draft contractual and commercial terms, and conditions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as the Contracts Section's focal point for corporate and business functions, and other dedicated internal customer groups, operating jointly with technical counterparts to facilitate effective relationships, contract planning, and management.
- Professional Development: Provide professional and practical advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on different contract models, pricing mechanisms, means of contractor remuneration, and associated commercial implications.
Requirements:
- Min 8 years of experience in Shipyard, oil and gas, or process industry experience.
- Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or Business, or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge and understanding of Contracts and Procurement processes and best practices.
- Computer literate and conversant with the use of MS Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SAP applications.
