About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in coordinating and managing insurance-related activities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Coordination :
    • Coordinate with the insurance manager to maintain a comprehensive insurance risk register.
    • Ensure timely updates to our ERP and insurance system with submitted insurance policies.
    • Follow up on pending insurance matters with relevant departments and entities to prevent delays.
    • Work closely with the insurance manager to stay informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities related to insurance.
  • Document Management :
    • Manage and distribute essential documents related to insurance management efficiently.
    • Prepare and arrange distribution of outgoing correspondences to relevant parties, functions, and entities as needed.
  • Reporting and Updates :
    • Draft and prepare regular reports on insurance status to stakeholders.
    • Provide timely updates on insurance matters when required, ensuring transparency and accountability.
    • Collaborate with the insurance manager to prepare status updates and presentations related to insurance.
  • Communication and Liaison :
    • Communicate effectively, both directly and on behalf of the insurance manager, with employees on matters related to insurance management.
  • Additional Duties :
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, prioritizing tasks with minimal guidance and supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
  2. At least 5 years of technical experience in insurance management.
  3. Proficiency in using word processing, database, and other IT applications.
  4. Relevant experience in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred.
  5. Knowledge of the Qatar/GCC market.
  6. Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
  7. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications suite.
