Job Description

This position is responsible for providing care and supervision to children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years. The incumbent will assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting activities for program participants based on observed needs of individual children and youth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Interact with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques.
  • Encourage participant interest and establish a program setting that promotes positive interactions with other children, youth, and adults.
  • Assist with the planning and conducting of activities for program participants based on the needs of individual children and youth.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required. Preferred experience working in a group program with children or youth highly preferred.
