Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the implementation of a trophic rewilding strategy within NEOM Nature Reserve (Terrestrial). This strategy aims to re-establish all trophic levels necessary to create ecological integrity within the NEOM system and address historical degradation that left the land in a desolate state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement rewilding strategies in compliance with legislation and operational guidelines, including conservation matters such as wildlife corridors, vegetation assessments, population dynamics, damage-causing animals, feeding strategies, ecosystem restoration, and record keeping/reporting.
  • Lead and manage the development of rewilding breeding centers to assist in reaching the objectives of the rewilding strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Land Conservation and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the rewilding strategy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in wildlife conservation and rewilding strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of conservation legislation and operational guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
