About the Role

Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering growth in assigned areas of responsibility through close collaboration with clients, ensuring a One-Wood solution mindset is adopted at all times.

As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will be accountable for the growth, development, and delivery performance in assigned areas, supporting the development of strategy and delivering the local business plan.

  • Develop and drive localisation plans for ultimate handover of O&M provision to clients and end of contract period.
  • Pursue and develop opportunities for innovation, such as digitalisation and technology use, work share and global execution centres, to bring value to customers and assets.
  • Participate in technical audits and peer reviews as required.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will direct and lead operational delivery and support teams to deliver O&M services to clients, ensuring Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd is working to the highest possible standards of integrity, safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ownership of HSSEA matters across O&M provision: ensure HSSEA values are delivered and adhered to at all times, proactively leading and demonstrating safety behavioural values.
  • Provides tactical direction to operational delivery teams in order to meet safe, reliable first gas from facilities and ongoing operational delivery thereafter.
  • Ensures robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place.
  • Carries out significant operational administrative functions, staffing activities, and managing day-to-day employee relations and operational issues.
  • With direction and within set parameters, establishes annual business goals and strategies and prepares a business plan for client asset directors.
  • Serves as consultant or project manager as appropriate, and representative of a One-Wood delivery solution to ensure a common approach to meet asset needs.
  • Ensures financial, safety, and quality controls and compliance with company policies.
  • P & L responsibility with associated commercial and financial accountability including revenue delivery, margin, and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and attainment, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, accounts payable/billing, and cash collection.
  • Maintain operational integrity and excellence, ensuring robust governance, subcontractor management, and performance reporting.
  • Establish and implement policies, and ensure appropriate governance mechanisms for continuous monitoring of their proper implementation.
  • Ensure people and worksites are safe and well-managed.
  • Support resolution of any legal claims in collaboration with legal and other relevant functions.
  • Pursue and develop opportunities for innovation, such as digitalisation and technology use, work share and global execution centres, to bring value to customers and assets.
