Human Resources Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Marriott hotels. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls and record messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems to ensure easy access to important documents.
  • File and maintain applicant interview documentation and records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process employment applications, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary steps.
  • Prepare and type office correspondence using a computer, maintaining a professional tone and format.
  • Audit and coordinate the distribution of paychecks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate essential documentation to applicants receiving a job offer, facilitating the completion of I-9 employment verification forms.
  • Create new employee personnel files, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
  • Design and update the display and content of employee communication bulletin boards, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Post all necessary legal or regulatory notices related to Human Resources in view of all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
