About the Role

As a Store Manager at Chalhoub Group, you will be responsible for driving the store business and achieving sales targets. You will lead by example, representing the brand and communicating its values and philosophy through all activities and interactions with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the Business
    • Develop and execute a store action plan to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Manage the customer database to build strong relationships with customers and create future selling opportunities.
    • Stay ahead of the latest trends, products, and competitors, and share feedback with relevant stakeholders.
    • Conduct quarterly SWOT analysis and discuss the outcome with your team and line manager.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Provide a clear vision to the team about the business and store's vision and key directions.
    • Identify, recruit, develop, and retain strong talents.
    • Create a positive work environment based on trust, respect, and fairness.
    • Act as a coach for team members and promote a growth mindset.
  • Customer Experience
    • Develop an omnichannel mindset among the team by promoting different touchpoints of the customer experience.
    • Use clienteling approaches and techniques to cater to VIP customers' needs and preferences.
    • Recruit new clients and convert them into loyal VIP customers by providing an excellent experience.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure all sales and operational policies and procedures are followed and maintained in the store.
    • Prepare and process e-commerce orders within set service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Leverage technology tools to support customer experience in and outside the store.
    • Ensure all operating standards are followed, from stock replenishment to organizing displays.
    • Ensure healthy floor coverage by analyzing historical traffic data and anticipating peak hours.
    • Ensure all processes are compliant with legal, safety, security, retail store operations, and HR guidelines.
