Job Title: Enterprise Architecture Lead

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture Lead to join our team at Faithtalent Advisors. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide architecture and processes that ensure the strategic application of technology is embedded in the management of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Enterprise Architecture: Determine compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards, practices, financial procurement, benchmarking, and KPI activities.
  • Coordinate with Senior Management: Create strategies, specify requirements, conduct feasibility studies to identify benefits of alternative strategies, and produce strategic models of the organization's information and communications needs, highlighting potential risks and impacts of those strategies.
  • Determine Requirements for IT Governance: Direct reviews as necessary to ensure informed decision-making, demonstrating an appropriate balance between benefits, opportunities, costs, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the Development of Detailed Plans: Transform the as-is architecture to the to-be architecture, manage current knowledge of IT estate and operations, and evolve a long-term strategy considering business risk and continuity issues.
  • Develop Enterprise-Wide Information Architecture: Implement support and governance for this architecture, ensuring operational architecture is robust, secure, trusted, with controlled access to information and appropriate management metrics and measures.
  • Appraise Business Cases: Evaluate major options for providing IT services effectively and efficiently, recommending solutions such as outsourcing and new approaches to process transactions aligned to business objectives.
  • Advise on Financial Planning: Develop financial plans and forecasts, monitor and manage IT expenditure, examining areas where budgets and expenditure exceed agreed tolerances, and advise on options for using available budget.
  • Verify and Measure Contractual Obligations: Report and assess underperformance and compliance failures, including application of contract terms, and identify where changes are required, evaluating impact and advising stakeholders on implications and consequences.
  • Determine New Approaches and Technologies: Identify and assess new and emerging technologies for evaluation of potential impacts, threats, and opportunities, creating technology roadmaps that align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions.
  • Facilitate the Measurement Framework: Align measurement objectives with business objectives, develop policies, standards, guidelines for measurement, and review the development of capabilities for measurement, including automation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline.
  • Architecture certification like TOGAF, BCS Practitioner, Zachman is required.
  • 10 years of experience within the Oil & Gas Industry with knowledge and awareness of the uses of IT within industry and specifically within competitive or associated organizations operating in the same market.
  • Strong awareness of the uses of IT within industry and specifically within competitive or associated organizations operating in the same market.
  • Awareness of trends in wider industry and anticipates associated implications.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Architecture tool knowledge/experience certification is desirable (Archi, Sparx, Rational Rose, etc.).
  • Business process certification (Six Sigma, BMBOK, etc.).
