Trace Systems is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Support Specialist to join our team in Qatar. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Battalion S-1 in Qatar, collecting and providing information to the Higher Headquarters S-1/G1 Offices as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with personnel tempo (PERSTEMPO) data, military awards, and records management. You will also be responsible for monitoring the Deployed Theater Accountability Software (DTAS) and providing timely and efficient tracking and visibility of deployed soldiers, contractors, and Department of Army civilians (DAC).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and maintain PERSTEMPO data in accordance with established thresholds.
  2. Review correspondence for accuracy in accordance with pertinent Army regulations.
  3. Prepare military awards, to include completing necessary forms and certificates and review, for accuracy, awards recommendations submitted by the companies.
  4. Process leave and pay actions.
  5. Perform unit level mail clerk duties.
  6. Process Soldier requests and actions to obtain a large variety of entitlements, schools, Foreign Service tour extensions and curtailments.
  7. Review and update Soldier records such as iPerms and Soldier record briefs for accuracy and assist if correction is required.
  8. Provide Enlisted Personnel Promotion Processing at the Battalion level.
  9. Conduct Soldier in-processing.
  10. Conduct personnel reassignment processing.
  11. Conduct personnel out-processing.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  2. US Citizenship.
  3. Word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe PDF, Share Point).
  4. Human Resources Command (HRC) personnel systems experience.
  5. Personnel Tempo (PERSTEMPO) processes and procedures knowledge.
  6. Military Awards approval process understanding.
  7. Records Management thru Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) skills.
  8. Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) transaction submission, error correction and understanding the numerous reports.
  9. Personnel Strength Management experience.
  10. DTAS "three tiered" architecture the Enterprise Database; the Theater Database and the Mobile System knowledge.
  11. High School diploma or GED.
