Job Description

The Assistant Vice President - Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and improve performance. This includes working closely with senior management to identify key areas for improvement, analyzing data to inform decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve performance
  • Work closely with senior management to identify key areas for improvement and analyze data to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives and monitor progress
  • Review and analyze KPIs and scorecards to provide perceptive and value-adding insight into the bank's performance and execution of strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree University graduate is a must, Master's degree is an advantage
  • At least 10 years' work experience with minimum of 3 years of similar experience with a reputed financial Institution
  • Business and/or functional experience or exposure
  • Previous experience in a corporate planning and performance management role
  • Awareness of a management consulting approach (previous role in such is an advantage)
  • Experience with performance management, balance scorecard approach and management of information systems (MIS)
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the activities and functions of the various business and support divisions in a financial institution
  • Well-developed numerical, analytical, and evaluation skills
