Financial Transaction Specialist

Job Overview:
PPL Dynamics seeks a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely execution of financial accounting transactions while adhering to company policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and international standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Cost Control: Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to ensure adherence to budget and maximize value for the organization.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation, review, and finalization of annual corporate budgets and detailed periodic review of budget Vs actual variances.
- Capital Expenditures: Oversee capital expenditures to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimal resource allocation.
- External Audits: Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and resolution of any audit findings.
- Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, and Statements and Reports: Develop, implement, and maintain effective policies, systems, processes, procedures, and statements and reports to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field is required.
- Chartered Accountant: Chartered Accountant, i.e ACCA, CA or CPA is a must.
Experience:
- Years of Experience: 6-8 years experience, including relevant experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Oracle ERP Experience: Experience on working in Oracle ERP environment is essential.
- Annual Corporate Budgets and Budget Vs Actual Variances: Preparation, review and finalization of annual corporate budgets and detailed periodic review of budget Vs actual variances.
Desired Skills and Qualities:
- Knowledge of Accounting Procedures, Protocols and Guidelines: Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, protocols and guidelines is necessary.
- GAAP and IFRS Knowledge: Knowledge of GAAP and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is required.
- Time Management Skills: Excellent time management skills are essential for this role.
- Financial Awareness: Strong financial awareness and analytical skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail is required for preparing financial reports and documents.
- Data Gathering and Analysis Skills: Ability to gather and analyze data effectively is crucial for this role.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with stakeholders and colleagues.
