Job Title: Off-Plot Permits Engineer

At BRUNEL, we are seeking a highly skilled Off-Plot Permits Engineer to join our team. As an Off-Plot Permits Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our off-plot developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Offer inclusive and timely guidance to Asset Operators and Business Partners on off-plot development requirements and facilitate necessary support.
  • Document Review and Approval: Ensure all required documents and drawings for technical approval are reviewed and approved to comply with applicable statutory regulations, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Compliance Function Coordination: Coordinate the review and approval process of technical submissions related to compliance function requirements, including new projects and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Transmittal Review and Distribution: Review and distribute all transmittals received through ECM/email on a daily basis, ensuring completeness and identifying review engineers/sections for routing/marking.
  • Corridor Routing and Crossing Matrix: Preliminary review of drawings/documents to ensure corridor routing and crossing matrix align with land lease agreements and approved corridors.
  • Joint Site Inspections: Organize and conduct joint site inspections to assess existing site conditions, facilitating Asset Operators/Business Partners to prepare technical submissions for approval.
  • Interface and Technical Issues: Resolve interface and technical-related issues, developing/recommending solutions in consultation with other discipline engineers.
  • e-CPW Applications: Check completeness, concur, renew/route Consolidated Permit to Work (e-CPW) applications to respective reviewers for comments/concurrence.
  • Approval Letters: Ensure issuing approval letters for individual crossing and non-crossing areas separately to expedite progress.
  • Interface Review Meetings: Conduct/attend interface review meetings, progress review meetings with Asset Operators/Business Partners on a daily/weekly basis, inviting/relevant reviewers for participation.
  • Site Issues and Occupancy Certificate: Arrange joint site inspections to resolve site issues, prepare checklists for project liquidation, and recommend issuance of Occupancy Certificate.
  • Regulating and Monitoring: Regulate and monitor all activities in common off-plot areas, sorting out permit violations between permit sections and asset owners.
