About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Simulation Support Specialist to join our team in Doha. As a key member of our Flight Training Device (FSTD) support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our flight simulators used by Qatar Airways.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine FSTD technical tasks, including maintenance calls, device setup, conversions and demos, and snag clearance.
- Independently perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) and Daily Readiness (DR) on training devices and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot training device issues, update DRs, and work with senior colleagues on AOGs.
- Monitor Simissues, action/update assigned issues, and perform requested tests.
- Make use of the Maintenance Management System to record, track, and review maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation Field.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- Highly engaged and motivated individual with strong teamwork skills.
- Able to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
