We are seeking an accomplished Relationship Wealth Manager to spearhead our Wealth Management team's efforts in Doha, Qatar.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop and manage long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, providing personalized investment solutions and exceeding their expectations.

The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in financial markets, investment strategies, and wealth management products to drive business growth and expansion within the wealth management sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective relationship-building strategies to attract and retain HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to create customized investment solutions tailored to the financial goals and risk appetites of each client.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Fundraising and Syndication:
  • Develop and execute fundraising initiatives to raise substantial capital from HNW and UHNW clients, targeting multi-million Qatari Riyal investments for the syndication of a variety of investment products.
  • Presentation and customization of investment opportunities to clients, utilizing the bank's suite of products and services.
  • Collaboration with internal product teams to structure and execute syndications that meet the needs of both the bank and its clients.
Market and Investment Expertise:
  • Staying informed on global financial markets, economic trends, and investment products to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Identification of emerging investment opportunities and risks, and proactive communication of these insights to clients.
  • Maintenance of a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Business Development:
  • Seeking new business opportunities through personal networks, industry events, and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Development and execution of strategies to onboard new HNW and UHNW clients, expanding the bank's market share in the wealth management sector.
  • Collaboration with the Head of Wealth Management to set and achieve targets for client acquisition and asset growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, with a focus on HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Proven track record in raising significant capital from HNW and UHNW clients, particularly for investment products.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and wealth management products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with affluent clients.
  • CFA, CFP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
