Product Designer Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at PrecisionHire Solutions. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our dairy and juice products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and market-ready products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Collaborate with the Product Manager:** Work closely with the Product Manager to define product specifications and requirements, ensuring that designs align with consumer preferences and market trends.
  • **Conduct User Research:** Conduct user research to gain insights into customer needs and preferences, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • **Design and Prototyping:** Create 2D and 3D designs, including product mockups and packaging concepts, utilizing 3D modeling software to visualize product designs and components.
  • **Prototype Development:** Develop and present prototypes for testing and feedback, ensuring that designs meet consumer needs and market expectations.
  • **Industry Trends and Competitor Analysis:** Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • **Marketing Alignment:** Work closely with marketing teams to ensure packaging designs align with brand identity and marketing strategies.
  • **Design Critiques and Feedback:** Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to team members, ensuring that designs meet high standards of quality and excellence.

**Requirements:**

  • **Proven Experience:** Proven experience in product design, particularly in food and beverage packaging, with a strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities and previous projects.
  • **Design Software:** Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and CAD tools, with strong skills in 3D modeling and animation software.
  • **Communication and Teamwork:** Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • **Education:** A degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred.
