The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies invites applications for a Research Associate position to support the implementation of a research project examining the social, ethical, and healthcare dimensions of women's fertility preservation treatments in Qatar. As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for managing research logistics, coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements, and supporting data collection, analysis, and dissemination efforts.

This interdisciplinary study brings together researchers from institutions such as Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), and Yale University. You will work closely with the Lead Principal Investigator and contribute to the development of policy briefs and presentations for different audiences.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the project timeline, research deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Support Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and ethical compliance for research activities.
  • Track project milestones and ensure alignment with grant requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health, Public Policy, Bioethics, or a related field.
  • Experience in qualitative research methods, research management, or academic project administration is preferred.
  • A demonstrated or emerging record of writing high-quality research papers.
  • Familiarity with Qatari healthcare policies, bioethics, and gender or family studies is an asset.
