Job Overview

The SNR Subsea Systems Engineer is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of subsea flowlines and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, review, implement, coordinate, manage, and follow up all necessary scopes and procedures for subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  • Identify and manage all technical aspects related to subsea flowline/pipeline projects.
  • Manage internal and external interfaces related to design, analysis, specification, schedule, and budget with all parties involved.
  • Coordinate technical matters between projects and nearby operations.
  • Direct specialist inputs as required.
  • Prepare and provide inputs to discipline scopes in company call for tender documents.
  • Deliver high-quality deliverables for offshore subsea installations.
  • Provide technical inputs to queries during project execution.
  • Ensure final documentation issuance.
  • Support project managers with project management tasks as required.
  • Report and liaise with project managers as needed.
  • Prioritize cable lay design and execution, including landfall design/interface experience.
Requirements
  • MSc in Engineering with specialization in subsea pipeline/flowline.
  • 15+ years of professional experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in subsea flowline/pipeline transportation and installation.
  • Diverse skill set in various engineering disciplines and interface management.
  • Expertise in subsea flowline/pipeline PLET, PLEM, Jumper, transition spools, tie-in, testing, commissioning, and preservation.
  • Experience with cable lay design and execution, burial/migration, and landfall design/interfaces.
  • Familiarity with contractual matters and subsea structures is beneficial.
  • English language proficiency is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training certificates are advantageous.
