Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant People & Culture Manager to join our dynamic team at IHG Hotels & Resorts in Doha. As a key member of our People & Culture department, you will play a critical role in shaping the workplace culture and ensuring that our employees have the skills and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective HR programmes to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to equip managers with the necessary skills to manage their teams effectively.
  • Lead the recruitment process for new team members, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Manage employee data, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain open communication channels with employees, addressing concerns and providing support when needed.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among employees.
  • Contribute to the development of our company's culture and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
