Job Description:

Parsons Oman is seeking an exceptionally skilled Workforce Planning Specialist to support our team. In this role, you will analyze workforce data, forecast staffing needs, and develop strategic plans to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning:

  1. Analyze current workforce data to identify trends and gaps, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  2. Forecast future staffing needs based on business goals and market trends, and develop plans to address these needs.
  3. Develop and implement workforce plans to optimize staffing levels and improve operational efficiency.

Recruitment Strategy:

  1. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  2. Utilize various recruitment channels to attract qualified candidates, and monitor the effectiveness of these channels.
  3. Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the success of recruitment strategies, and make recommendations for improvement.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  1. Collect and analyze data related to recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  2. Prepare and present reports on recruitment activities and workforce planning to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  3. Use data to identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process, and develop strategies to address these areas.

Candidate Sourcing & Selection:

  1. Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, and other channels, and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  2. Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit, and coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.

Employer Branding:

  1. Assist in developing and promoting the company's employer brand to attract top talent, and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to promote the organization.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice, and promote the organization's values and culture.

Compliance & Best Practices:

  1. Ensure recruitment practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws, and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in recruitment and workforce planning.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and provide training to hiring managers and recruiters on these policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  2. 5+ years of experience in recruitment, workforce planning, or a related role, and experience in a specific industry (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance) may be preferred.
  3. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting, and proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Excellent time management and organizational skills, and strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  2. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy, and team player with a positive attitude.
  3. Experience in Qatar or GCC will be preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications suite.
