About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Worker at Azure Beach Club. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in our food preparation and presentation.

Product Knowledge and Quality Control

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation techniques. This will enable you to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Professional Development and Growth

Culinary Skills and Techniques

You will be expected to possess a range of culinary skills and techniques, including knife skills, basic cuts, and the ability to prepare a variety of dishes, including fish, meat, vegetables, sauces, and stocks. You should also be proficient in grilling, pan-frying, stewing, braising, steaming, and roasting.

Inventory Management and Stock Control

You will be responsible for ensuring that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions and that rotation is managed according to company standards. This will help to minimize waste and ensure that we are using the freshest ingredients possible.

Mise-en-Place and Food Preparation

You will be expected to prepare all mise-en-place items freshly and on time, and to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity. This will help to maintain the high standards of quality and presentation that we expect from our team.
