Job Description

Job Title: Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at HomeCentre Qatar. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional designs for our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales team goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales team in creating stylish concepts for clients, offering visual and functional solutions for HomeCentre products.
  • Ensure customer commitments are met on time through follow-ups on purchases/orders/deliveries and addressing any issues.
  • Meet client design specifications through follow-up communication, home visits, and setup, and gather customer feedback on the service provided.
  • Prepare work briefs based on client interaction and secondary research.
  • Provide detailed assistance to clients during the selection process of fabrics, color palettes, window treatments, lighting, carpets, floor tiles, artwork, wallpaper, and accessories.
  • Prepare accurate and error-free detailed drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes using computer-aided design software (Autocad) for presentation to clients.
  • Identify and understand the structural requirements of the design solution, focusing on health and safety issues, building codes, and other relevant technical aspects.
  • Prepare detailed order documents and programs for site/home execution, as well as status reports on a weekly basis.
  • Produce mood boards for presentation to clients and finish plans/layouts and specifications/BOQ.

Requirements:

  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge in space planning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Team player with the ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
  • Selling skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Auto Cad, Photoshop, SketchUp, or other design-related software.
  • Excellent graphic presentation skills, including hand sketches.
