Sales Expert

The Pre-Sales Technical Support role at Starlinks is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced industry professional to join our dedicated sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to new and existing corporate customers.
Responsibilities:- Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is collected prior to producing a solution.
- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
- Create internal design configuration documentation, including system or network diagrams with technical explanations.
- Assist the Outside sales team in selling technical solutions/products/services to customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer.
- Provide accurate and timely management information, including activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, and KPIs.
- Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:
- Technical certification on VMWare or other Hypervisor.
- Strong interest in Internet technologies (routing, switching, and general network infrastructure).
- Strong working knowledge of current cyber security issues, mitigation practices, and technologies, with a demonstrable interest in keeping abreast with technical developments in this field.
- Good technical knowledge of VPNs, DNS, and Internet connectivity methods.
- Previous experience in requirements gathering, design, and solution building, with the ability to replicate this in a commercial setting.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships internally at various levels and work closely with sales, operations, and product development.
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly.
- Full driver's license and willingness to travel through sales territory.
- Project management experience is a distinct advantage.
- 5+ years selling or managing Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) is preferred.
