Research and Development Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all testing and analysis in our laboratories, and will have a strong background in chemistry or a related discipline.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience working in a laboratory environment within the Oil & Gas industry, and a solid understanding of Quality Management principles under ISO 9000 & ISO 17025. They will also have strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, as well as sound coaching skills and the ability to conduct training.
Key Activities- Conduct Complex Testing: Prepare and conduct complex testing and analysis, as well as data interpretation for all laboratories.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise Laboratory personnel, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, as well as training staff to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain Equipment and Implement Safety: Perform basic troubleshooting on test equipment and instrumentation, and improve efficiency, accuracy, and precision of measurement methods, as well as assist in implementing safety programs to prevent and correct unsafe environmental or working conditions.
