About This Opportunity:

As a Contracts Specialist with our company, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in contract management and negotiation.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Interpretation and Resolution: Interpret contract provisions to resolve claims and questions submitted by contractors in accordance with policies and guidelines.
  2. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance to contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the tender.
  3. Contract Meetings and Correspondence: Assist Senior Contracts Specialists to initiate and conduct meetings with contractors concerning contractual problems as requested by Project Managers/Engineers.
  4. Record Keeping and Analysis: Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity. Analyze the proposal request and provide written response containing exact cost information of material, time, and services.
  5. Contract Management and Review: Review Contract Management and examine compliance per work scope. Reviews the accuracy and adequacy of the contract and its integral documents such as bonds, insurance, BOQs, and specifications.
  6. Contract Cycle Management: Monitors the cycle for contract proposals through contract expiration or completion.
  7. Claims and Dispute Resolution: Studies claims and disputes and recommends desired course of action to Senior Contracts Specialists.
  8. Training and Development: Archives and uses current claims and dispute data as case study material to train staff in claims assessment and serves as guidelines for future contracts.
  9. Contract Processing and Cost Control: Guides in processing requests for variation, addendum, extension of time, etc., in accordance with established procedures and exercises contract cost control.
  10. Record Maintenance and Support: Manages the maintenance of complete, accurate, and up-to-date contract records and logs. Provides analytical support to the management team.
