About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Welding Engineer to work on a major LNG Operator project in Qatar.

Responsibilities
  • Review of Contractor's and Vendors' welding deliverables, including Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) and welding qualification and testing procedures.
  • Support the QA/QC effort in welding qualification and control of welds.
  • Collaborate extensively with the PMT QA/QC function.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and groups for proper understanding and implementation of the welding engineering requirements.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of relevant experience as Welding Specialist in the oil and gas major capital projects environment.
  • Detailed Knowledge in the International Codes and Standards and Good Engineering Practices applicable to the LNG facilities.
  • Significant experience in working with EPC Contractors and interfacing with equipment suppliers.
