About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team at Malomatia, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise architecture solutions to support business growth and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement enterprise architecture solutions to support business growth and strategy.
  2. Foster domain expertise across Business, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and Integration domains.
  3. Collaborate with client teams to define architecture principles and guidelines for strategic projects.
  4. Provide guidance on EA foundation principles, ADM, Architecture Continuum, and architecture artifact development.
  5. Model architecture layers and gather information on As-Is and To-Be architecture artifacts.
  6. Utilize business process modeling (BPMN) skills to develop and analyze process flows.
  7. Manage enterprise architecture tools such as iServer, Sparx EA, or Aris.
  8. Contribute to the development of the firm's methods and frameworks related to enterprise architecture.
  9. Understand target operating models covering people, processes, and tools.
  10. Analyze current challenges and develop improvements/recommendation changes to the operating model.
  11. Define capabilities and functions required for various domain operations to support business outcomes.

Leadership and Team Collaboration:

  1. Lead projects and workstreams relating to technology advisory and delivery services.
  2. Work with clients and internal teams to scope and shape new projects, defining approaches, timelines, and resource efforts.
  3. Deliver high-quality work products and collaborate with others to ensure a superior client experience.
  4. Understand how business functions operate, industry trends impact business, and technology contributes to business outcomes.
  5. Address client business challenges at the intersection of business and technology.
  6. Review project outputs to ensure they meet quality standards.
  7. Set team objectives and review performance, providing feedback to project teams.
  8. Maintain composure in conflict and sensitive situations, escalating issues when necessary.
  9. Identify risks that may impact clients or projects and work with leadership to put mitigation plans in place.
  10. Presentation and storytelling skills to communicate recommendations effectively.
  11. Global awareness and diverse perspective to address client needs and enhance recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Native Arabic speaker with excellent English language skills.
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture tool usage (iServer preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration.
  • Leadership and team-playing abilities.
  • Strong project management discipline knowledge, including project planning and quality program deliverables.
  • Consulting experience is highly valued.
  • Administrative and numeracy skills with attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
  • Expertise in MS Office applications, especially Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours to meet client deadlines and firm needs.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel if required.

Years of Experience: 6+ Years as an Enterprise Architect

Education: Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Certified TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications like ITIL, COBIT, CMMI, Zachman, Lean, Six Sigma are valuable depending on the offering alignment.
  • Knowledge of Qatar Government Enterprise Architecture (GEA) is beneficial.
