As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality training programmes to the Qatar Armed Forces. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our examinations and assessment processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

You will be responsible for conducting research, developing, and implementing examination strategies that align with our organisational objectives.

Your duties will also include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing examination schedules, and supervising examination days.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

The role holder's key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing examination strategies that align with organisational objectives.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless examination operations.
  • Managing examination schedules, including preparing timetables, seating plans, and briefing candidates and staff.
  • Supervising examination days, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations and internal protocols.
  • Managing the results process, including accessing results electronically and preparing results for dissemination.
  • Staying informed of changes to examinations by the Awarding Body and assisting in updating related policies.
  • Collaborating with the Exams and Assessment Lead to evaluate activity data and improve assessment content and design.
  • Handling requests and administering post-results services.
Accountabilities
  • Production of English Language Training assessments.
  • Managing the end-to-end examination and assessment process for the Foundation Stage.
  • Analysing examination and assessment results and reporting findings to the management team.
  • Recording examination results and issuing certificates to successful candidates.
Requirements
  • Formal qualification in Language Testing or relevant experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of Language Testing (pre/post-test production).
  • Holds qualified teacher status/has relevant education and training qualification e.g. CELTA, TESOL, PGCE, and MA, BA in ELT/TESOL/Education.
  • Experience of English curriculum and material development.
  • Relevant experience teaching English to international students in a range of contexts, especially in the Middle East desirable but not essential.
  • Experience dealing with exams/assessment and invigilation.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 or Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and helpful personality.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Experience of IELTS teaching and examinations.
