About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Geological Field Development Strategist to join our team at QatarEnergy. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and petrophysicists to integrate geological findings into comprehensive field development strategies.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all geological data is accurately interpreted and integrated with geophysical data for optimal resource extraction. You will also utilize advanced geological software to create detailed subsurface maps and cross-sections, conduct thorough geological assessments to determine the viability of potential drilling sites, and review/interpret subsurface data to generate optimized drillable well locations and well proposals.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in Petroleum Geology: Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry with 6 years' experience doing a combination of geological studies and operations.
  • B.Sc. Degree in Geosciences: B.Sc. degree in Geosciences with extensive petroleum geology training.
