Job Opportunity

Talent Pal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our climate change adaptation efforts in Qatar. As a National Adaptation Plan NAP Intern, you will work closely with our Green Growth Project Officer and project team to implement climate adaptation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of Qatar's National Adaptation Plan, conducting data research, content writing, and drafting inputs to technical reports and communication materials.
  • Provide translation services in English and Arabic to facilitate project communication and implementation.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics, participants, and presentation materials for meetings, workshops, and capacity-building events.
  • Review, edit, and proofread GGGI knowledge products, technical reports, and communication materials in line with GGGI guidelines.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in environmental science, climate science, urban planning, environmental policy, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic, with proficiency in translation tasks.
  • Strong ability to draft technical reports and communication materials.
  • Prior experience in national adaptation planning within an international organization is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A strong interest in environmental issues, sustainable development, and green growth initiatives.
Internship Details

The internship program is for at least three months and up to six months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of USD $500 per month and must arrange and finance their travel to the internship location. Medical insurance is also required.
