Job Description:

Job Title: Sales Manager - Maritime Systems

A leading business development company, Qureos, is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to spearhead our maritime surveillance business in the Middle East region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and sustaining relationships with customers and end-users in the Middle East, particularly in the GCC countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote our maritime surveillance portfolio to Middle East customers
  • Develop and sustain relationships with customers and end-users (MoD, MoI, MoT, Procurement agencies, Prime contractors, Navies, Coast Guards, Port Authorities...)
  • Specifically handle and develop existing accounts in the Middle East
  • Develop new opportunities/campaigns
  • Manage campaigns in coordination with internal stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and book order intake as per yearly agreed objectives
  • Record/update information in the internal CRM (Salesforce) as needed
  • Develop a clear understanding on the market trend (customer expectations, new technical developments, competition positioning...) in order to support internal product/solution roadmap as needed

Required Experience and Competences:

  • Mandatory experience in the Middle East market (>10 years)
  • Significant track record on campaigns/projects related to security/defence related systems and maritime surveillance, acquired through years of operational experience in this domain
  • Proven record to develop customer trust by bridging the gap between highly technical solutions/concepts and operational needs
  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in transversal / remote teams
  • Ability to well understand both Sales and Programme execution challenges
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships and interact constructively with all stakeholders in complex international environment
  • Good negotiation and contract development skills
  • Excellent understanding of projects financial aspects, bids and business cases
  • International culture with ability to travel, network, do business abroad with autonomy
  • French/English speaker; Arabic is a plus
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas business sector is a plus
