Landside Duty Officer

About the Role:

As a Landside Duty Officer at Qatar Airways, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless and convenient experience for all airport customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage landside duties on shift, with a focus on curbside, vicinity roads, airport access roads, and other landside areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage landside traffic situations through regular vehicle patrols and on-foot inspections to ensure smooth logistic flows.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, including spot checks, to ensure compliance with Qatar Airways' standards.
  • Identify and report any landside area faults to the MATAR Faulty Reporting Center and follow up to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Respond to landside area incidents and accidents, reporting to senior management and compiling incident reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to airport users within landside areas, ensuring a high standard of service 24/7.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of work-related experience, with at least 2 years in an airport environment.
  • Valid Qatari Driving License.
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, with Arabic being an advantage.
