Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Power International Holding Qatar. As a key member of our contracts department, you will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager in the preparation, issuance, and approval of various agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and registration of all consultants, service providers, suppliers, and subcontractors advance payment guarantees, performance bonds, retention bonds, and required insurances.
- Verify the authenticity and correctness of submitted cheques and bank guarantees as per the provided/standard contract specimen.
- Support the Contracts Manager in all related administrative/contractual issues/concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to enable easy tracking and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain contract and supply agreements for Contract Manager's approval.
- Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information related to the proposal.
- Develop proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives, outcomes, deliverables, and implementation.
- Prepare presentations by evaluating text, graphics, and printing all required material.
- Maintain quality results by using templates and proposal-writing standards, including readability and consistency.
- Obtain approvals by reviewing proposals with key providers and project managers.
- Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and redesigning processes, approach, coordination, and implementing changes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, law, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
