Job Title: Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to oversee all contract activities for a major PMCM project. This role requires effective management and administration of multiple contracts, identification and management of potential claims, and payment process including progress payments, milestones, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contract activities, including contract administration, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Identify and manage potential claims, and negotiate settlements.
  • Oversee payment process, including progress payments, milestones, and invoicing.
  • Assist with dispute resolution matters, and provide regular reports.
  • Manage the negotiation and agreement of final accounts.
Requirements:
  • BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • 15 years overall post-graduate experience with 6 years prime contracts management.
  • PMCM experience preferably in the GCC.
  • Ability to lead a team of contract engineers and administrators.
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC and other international standards pre and post-award contract administration.
  • Extensive experience with contract administration, negotiation, high-value claims, dispute resolution, and arbitration.
  • Ability to work as part of a specialist team with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to perform management capacity.
  • Working knowledge of software typically associated with contract administration.
  • Experience of administering multiple contracts at any one time.
  • Interpreting contracts and dealing with variations, conflicts, claims, disputes, and other contractual issues.
