The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the effective management of all supplies and equipment for which the Supply Chain Manager has storage responsibility. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of all warehouses, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of supplies and equipment.
  • Plan and organize storage plans for each warehouse, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and safety practices.
  • Supervise the receipt, inspection, issue, and warehousing of all Air Force assets, including equipment repairable and expendables.
  • Develop and implement an aggressive program to ensure material handling techniques are in compliance with applicable warehousing procedures and safety practices.
  • Provide technical assistance to other site storage activities to ensure items are stored in accordance with Air Force technical orders manuals and directives.
  • Manage the resale of excess and/or surplus items disposed of locally, operating a Defense Logistics Agency Disposal Service (DLADS) function.
  • Develop standards for subordinates and implement the precepts of quality assurance within the guidelines set forth in the ISO 9001 program.
  • Manage the Hazardous Materials Storage Area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office, including Power Point, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of manual and automated supply accounting systems, Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) policies and procedures, storage practices, and property accounting procedures is mandatory.
  • Strong communicative and supervisory skills required.
  • Valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
  • May be required to operate material handling equipment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum seven to ten years experience in developing, managing, implementing, and operating a warehouse/distribution operation within a SBSS environment.
  • Three years experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
  • Physically capable of performing all required duties, capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Maximo experience preferred.
